Fans of the late Pittsburgh rapper have been waiting for this news to be announced and now it is a reality.
The family of Mac Miller took to his Instagram page to make it public that Mac’s latest Jon Brion-produced album will be released posthumously on January 17. This is the first full length project heard from the “Self Care” emcee since his untimely death on September 7, 2018.
The album, as the family explained, will be aptly entitled Circles, a “companion album” to his 2018 Swimming release, which would complete his concept of “Swimming In Circles”.
Mac Miller, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, was working on this release exclusively with Brion before his passing. Circles will be the sixth full length album of Miller’s career.
